2. Monster Mash
Originally released on Bobby “Boris” Pickett’s 1962 The Original Monster Mash album, along with several other monster-themed tunes, it reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 on October 20 of that year, just 11 days before Halloween.
3. Time Warp

4. Ghostbusters
Who you gonna call? This is the theme song to the movie, Ghostbusters, and is performed by Ray Parker Jr. He received a lawsuit though for having it sound too much like Huey Lewis and the News’ I Want A New Drug.
5. I’m Your Boogie Man
This was originally released by KC and the Sunshine Band in 1976, reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was later covered by White Zombie in 1996. It also has appeared in the movie trailers for Scary Movie 1, 2, 3, and 4 (the song’s played toward the end of each one).
6. Somebody’s Watching Me
This song was originally performed by Rockwell in 1984, featuring Michael Jackson on chorus. This was Rockwell’s only major hit. It
was later covered by Mysto & Pizzi for a series of GEICO
commercials.
7. The Devil Went Down to Georgia
The melody of this song is actually from Lonesome Fiddle Blues.
The Charlie Daniels Band added lyrics to the song in 1979. In 1993, they also released a sequel called The Devils Comes Back to Georgia, featuring Travis Tritt, Marty Stuart, and Johnny Cash.
8. (Don’t Fear) The Reaper
“GUESS WHAT! I GOT A FEVER…AND THE ONLY
PRESCRIPTION IS MORE COWBELL.” This quote is from one of
the most famous SNL skits ever, Behind the Music: Blue Oyster Cult, which parodied the band playing this song.
9. The Addams Family
This was the theme song to the tv series of the same name as well as the movies The Addams Family
and Addams Family Values
. MC Hammer later created a rap version of this song called Addams Groove, which was also featured in the Addams Family movie.
10. This is Halloween
This song was composed by Danny Elfman for the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. It also appeared as background music for Halloween Town World in the Kingdom Hearts video game. Marilyn Manson later covered the song for the 13th anniversary release of The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack

11. Psycho Theme
This was the music played during the Psycho shower scene. This 3 minute part of the money took 7 days to film and featured 77 different camera angles. It was worth it though, as it became one of the most famous films in movie history.
